Fire Destroys Garage, Car in Woodland Hills
The garage of a single-family home in Woodland Hills and the new Mercedes-Benz inside were destroyed Friday morning by a fast-moving fire, a Fire Department spokesman said.
No one was injured in the blaze, which occurred on the 5400 block of Royer Avenue about 11 a.m. and was contained 25 minutes later. The damage estimate of $175,000 included the car. The cause of the fire is under investigation, the spokesman said.
