STUFFING BOOK

Congratulations on Calendar’s courage in daring to be published separately from the Book Review! Although we are all aware that being printed upside down around the Book Review has done wonders for the readership of Calendar, some of the credit has to go to those truly talented Calendar letter writers and stereo ad mavens.
Of course, the naked Calendar will lose some without the support of Book Review readership, but there really does come a time when the child must stop clinging to the parent publication and go out on its own, if only for a week at a time.
My only worry is that the editors of the Book Review, having scored such a major coup with saving Calendar, might now have difficulty doing the same for the Business section. We wish them luck in differentiating between a fanatic dedication to doing good and old-fashioned hubris.
