Ice Hot Turns Back Go Dancer at Hollypark
Ice Hot drove to the lead entering the stretch and held off heavily favored Go Dancer in the final furlong to win the $48,000 feature race Thursday at Hollywood Park.
Ridden by Laffit Pincay, Ice Hot finished 1 3/4 lengths in front of Go Dancer, the odds-on favorite ridden by Chris McCarron. Zoffany, ridden by Terry Lipham, finished third, another 1 lengths back.
Ice Hot earned $26,400 in defeating seven rivals. Sent off as the 9-2 second choice, Ice Hot paid $11.40 to win.
