El Cajon
A two-alarm fire caused an estimated $100,000 damage to the DeAngelis restaurant at 1977 E. Main St. in El Cajon Thursday morning. Seventeen firefighters, including ones from the Lakeside and Santee departments, responded to the fire. A spokeswoman said the fire was reported at 1:24 a.m. and took 48 minutes to control.
