Huntington Beach : New Principal Named for Huntington Beach High
Darryl G. Stucker, who has been principal of Anaheim’s Savanna High School the past two years, is the new principal of Huntington Beach High School.
The Huntington Beach Union High School District board of trustees unanimously approved Stucker for the position earlier this week. He succeeds Ann Chlebicki, who resigned to accept an administrative post with Saddleback Valley Unified School District.
Stucker assumed his duties at Huntington Beach High on Thursday, according to Catherine McGough, the district’s administrative assistant.
Stucker had been principal of Savanna High since April, 1983. Before that, he was assistant principal at Half Moon Bay High, in the Cabrillo Unified School District, and director of student activities at Hawthorne High School in the Centinela Valley Union High School District.
