Kimmell Signs; Hester Is Only Raider Missing
Jamie Kimmell, the Syracuse linebacker the Raiders drafted in the fourth round, arrived at the team’s training camp in Oxnard Monday, leaving the No. 1 pick, Jessie Hester, the last absentee.
Hester is expected to be in soon.
“We think we’re going to get it done today or tomorrow,” said Hester’s agent, Mike Blatt, from Stockton Monday. “We’re that close. We have airplane tickets for him.”
Hester has been staying in a hotel in Stockton.
The Raider rookies will scrimmage the Dallas Cowboys at Thousand Oaks today.
