Howe Works Out at Minnesota
Associated Press
MINNEAPOLIS —
Former Dodger pitcher Steve Howe has worked out at the Metrodome for Minnesota Twin Manager Ray Miller and President Howard Fox.
Neither Miller nor Fox would say much about Howe’s visit Monday. He was on the field for about 30 minutes and then that threesome, along with agent Jim Hawkins, had lunch.
But, asked whether the Twins were impressed enough to continue considering obtaining Howe, Fox replied: “That’s a good assumption.”
Howe and Hawkins were unavailable for comment.
