All four U.S. entries reached the semifinals Wednesday in the racquetball competition at the 1985 World Games for non-Olympic sports.

In the men’s event, Huntington Beach’s Ed Andrews and Andy Roberts reached the final four, and Cindy Baxter and Mary Dee qualified in the women’s tournament.

In the final round-robin matches, the 25-year-old Andrews, who won in 1981 at the inaugural World Games at Santa Clara, maintained his unbeaten record by defeating Arturo Martin of Mexico, 15-13, 15-8.
