Three Olympic gold medal winning boxers, Paul Gonzales, Frank Tate and Henry Tillman, will appear in three separate six-round bouts next Sunday, Aug. 11, at the Hollywood Palladium.

The card, which will be nationally televised by CBS, begins at 1 p.m.

Gonzales, 21, the flyweight Olympic champion from East Los Angeles, will make his pro debut when he takes on Jose (Pulga) Torres, a former Nevada super flyweight champion with a record of 22-13-2 and nine KOs.

Torres, 28, of Tucson, knocked out former WBC world flyweight champion Charlie Magri of Tunisia in May, 1982.
