Political Pressures Cancel WBA Title Bout

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa —
A world junior welterweight title fight between South Africa’s Brian Baronet and World Boxing Association champion Ubaldo Sacco, of Argentina has been canceled due to political pressures from the Argentine, the promoters announced Sunday.
The fight had been scheduled for Oct. 26 in Sun City, the capital of the independent South African tribal homeland of Bophuthatswana.
