The Milwaukee Bucks will play the Cleveland Cavaliers in a National Basketball Assn. exhibition game at the Tulsa Convention Center Oct. 9.

Former University of Tulsa star Paul Pressey, now of the Bucks, just hopes he is with the team long enough to play before his college fans.

Pressey, whose long-armed skills have been used by Coach Don Nelson at a unique point forward position for the Bucks, is rumored to be part of a potential trade with the Golden State Warriors.

Milwaukee wants Warriors’ center Joe Barry Carroll and Bucks officials reportedly are considering working a trade.

“It’s a part of the business that one has to be prepared for,” Pressey said. “I haven’t heard anything about me going there, but I guess it could happen. I have to be ready if it does.”

Pressey has one year left on his initial four-year contract and would not rule out the possibility of a trade.

“A lot of things can happen,” Pressey said. “That’s the bad part of this game, getting traded. But it could happen.”
