Mr Trucka Jet, with jockey Jacky Martin becoming the first three-time winner of the race, ran away with the $2 million All American quarter horse futurity at Ruidoso Downs in New Mexico.

Mr Trucka Jet, who paid $13.60, $5.60 and $4, covered the distance in 21.41 seconds to equal the best time for the futurity, set in 1984 by Eastex. The victory was worth $1 million for owner Darrell Kissee and was the colt’s third straight victory since he arrived at Ruidoso Downs last month and his fifth in seven races this year.
