Paul Westphal, the former Phoenix Suns guard, is not entitled to financial compensation from the team over his 1984 waiver, a National Basketball Assn. arbitrator has ruled for the second time.
Phoenix cut Westphal, 34, during preseason training camp on Oct. 12, 1984. Fourteen days later, NBA arbitrator Arthur Stark ruled against Westphal in his salary grievance asking for $385,000. That ruling was upheld.
