Sun Valley Motorist Hits Pole, Is Killed
An 18-year-old Sun Valley man was killed early Thursday morning when he lost control of his car in the Sunland area and crashed into a telephone pole, police said.
Timothy Flores was pronounced dead at the scene at about 3 a.m. after his car hit the pole in the 117000 block of Big Tujunga Canyon Road, Los Angeles Police Officer William Mulvihill said.
Flores was southbound when he skidded onto the shoulder of the road, police said.
