Last Try for Quake Survivors

MEXICO CITY —
Mexican rescue workers made a “last-ditch effort” today to find more survivors of last week’s killer earthquakes, and the government announced plans to begin dynamiting collapsed buildings during the weekend.
Police said the official death toll in the two quakes stood at 4,696. No more survivors were discovered by midday today.
