Arredondo Knocks Out Julio in the Fourth
Rene Arredondo, the World Boxing Council’s fourth-ranked welterweight, connected with a right to the chin to knock out No. 5 Saul Julio at 1:42 of the fourth round in their scheduled 10-round fight Thursday night at the Olympic Auditorium.
In another scheduled 10-rounder, junior-welterweight Rodolfo Gonzalez of Mexico City stopped Luis Urraca of Miami at 1:19 of the fifth round.
