Mom’s Command, winner of New York’s triple crown for fillies, is being retired to breeding in Kentucky and will not race again, owner Peter Fuller said.
Fuller said at Suffolk Downs that the 3-year-old had sustained an ankle injury in training and could not be ready for her scheduled final race, the Belmont Stakes Sunday at Belmont Park in New York.
The filly won 11 of her 16 starts earning more than $900,000
