Acton Man Killed as Car Runs Off Highway
A 61-year-old Acton man was killed early Thursday when his car ran off the road and hit a concrete culvert on Sierra Highway in Newhall, the California Highway Patrol said.
Reginald Hartland Byette was pronounced dead at the scene from chest injuries, CHP Officer Barry Hogan said.
His car was traveling south when the accident occurred shortly after 3 a.m., Hogan said.
Cause of the accident is under investigation.
