Gov. George Deukmejian has appointed seven Superior Court judges for Southern California. They include: Los Angeles Municipal Judge Ramona Perez, 38, to the Los Angeles County court to succeed Judge Charles Litwin, who retired; Richard Kalustian, 49, a deputy district attorney, to fill a newly created post on the Los Angeles County court; David Schacter, 44, a deputy city attorney for Long Beach, to the fill a newly created post on the Los Angeles County court; Pasadena Municipal Judge Robert Klausner, 44, to fill a newly created post on the Los Angeles County court; Franklin Mitchell Jr., 48, a San Diego Municipal judge, to replace San Diego County Superior Court Judge Alfred Lord, who retired; San Diego Municipal Judge J. Richard Haden, 40, to the San Diego County bench to succeed Daniel Kremer, who was elevated to the state Court of Appeal, and San Bernardino Municipal Judge Art McKinster, 39, to replace San Bernardino County Judge Don Turner, who retired.
