A fingerprint check led to identification of Patrick Charles Allen, 26, of Capitola as the victim of a fatal fall in Yosemite National Park. Park officials said the Santa Cruz County man apparently was filling a water bottle on Sunday when he slipped into the water and plunged over 317-foot Vernal Fall. Allen had been hiking alone.
