Coaches Stan Albeck of the Chicago Bulls and Chuck Daly of the Detroit Pistons each has been suspended for one game and fined because of a shoving incident during a game, the NBA announced.
Scotty Stirling, the NBA’s vice president-operations, said Albeck was fined $1,000 and Daly $500, plus the $250 they were assessed for being ejected from the game. Stirling said that Albeck drew the higher fine because he initiated the incident.
Albeck will miss Chicago’s game at Golden State tonight, and Daly will sit out the Pistons’ home game against New Jersey tonight.
