From Associated Press
SAN QUENTIN, Calif. —
Two San Quentin inmates who authorities feared might have escaped after they failed to show up in a regular head count were found Thursday hiding under stacks of clothing in a prison laundry, authorities said.
The convicts were identified as Paul Francis Thomas, 28, serving a 25-year-to-life sentence on a first-degree murder conviction from San Diego, and Ronald Oliver Reach, 34, serving a seven-year-to-life sentence for first-degree murder from Los Angeles County.
