Philadelphia 76er guard Andrew Toney has a stress fracture in his right foot and will miss at least three weeks, the team announced.
Toney, who has been hobbled by foot and ankle injuries since late last season, had his foot placed in a cast and his condition will be evaluated again in three weeks, a team spokesman said.
Toney played sparingly in three of the 76ers’ first five regular-season games, averaging 4.7 points. The Sixers did not place Toney on the injured list. His starting position has been taken by Sedale Threatt.
