Chang Jung Koo of South Korea retained his World Boxing Council light-flyweight title with a unanimous 12-round decision over Mexican challenger Jorge Cano at Taejon, 87 miles south of Seoul, South Korea.
It was Chang’s eighth defense of the title which he won from Panama’s Hilario Zapata in March 1983.
