Model Found Dead in Trunk of Her Car
The body of a Compton fashion model who apparently had been stabbed to death has been found in the trunk of her compact car, authorities said Tuesday.
Daphne Jean Price, 21, was last seen on Nov. 5, when she left home after telling her mother that she was going to check on a modeling job, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said.
Her body was found Monday when employees of a Carson trucking firm attempted to move the car in order to park a tractor-trailer rig.
Price was a model for full-figured women’s clothing and was on the cover of the August issue of BBW (Big Beautiful Woman) Magazine.
