Arcadia : Plan for Median Awaited

The City Council on Jan. 21 will receive the Civic Center Master Plan for renovation of the median strip dividing Huntington Drive. City Hall and the Police Department are located on the strip. “The plan will show what we think is the best arrangement of a new police facility, City Hall, community auditorium and senior center on the site--if such facilities are built,” said City Manager George Watts. Architects are working on designs for a $10.5-million police station, to be built southwest of the existing facility.
