Milwaukee Routs Sacramento, Runs Win Streak to Six

The Milwaukee Bucks gave the Sacramento Kings a lesson in textbook basketball Thursday night while scoring a 131-97 National Basketball Assn. victory.

The Bucks dominated the inside game, hit 13 consecutive free throws and rarely missed an outside shot to extend their winning streak to six games.

Alton Lister scored 10 of his 19 points in the third quarter to help the Bucks build a 40-point lead going into the final period.

Seven steals, including four by forward Paul Pressey, allowed the Bucks to score 41 points in the third quarter. Pressey also had six assists, eight points and a blocked shot during the third quarter’s final nine minutes.

Randy Breuer scored 19 points to share Milwaukee scoring honors with Lister.

Eddie Johnson scored 28 points to lead the Kings (4-8).

The victory gave Milwuakee a 12-4 record.
