COLOMBIAN FILM WINS AT RIO FEST

The Colombian film “Tiempo de Morir” (Time of Dying) has won the Golden Toucan award for best film at the Rio international filmfest. Directed by Jorge Ali Triana from a screenplay by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, it tells of a man convicted of murder who, after serving his sentence, returns home only to find the sons of his victim hoping for vengeance.
