Women’s Basketball Roundup : Patterson, Hartsfield Not Enough
Leone Patterson and Valerie Hartsfield combined for 32 points, but Chapman College dropped a 55-52 nonconference decision to the University of Alaska at Anchorage Saturday night.
Patterson led the Panthers (4-2) with 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, Hartsfield added 13 points and Tami Brewster had 10 rebounds.
In other nonconference action:
Fresno State 52, UC Irvine 43--Valerie Dehn scored a game-high 21 points as the Anteaters fell to the Bulldogs at Irvine. Tami Towel had 14 points and Shannon McGee added 11 to lead Fresno State.
