CBS Sports and the National Basketball Assn....
CBS Sports and the National Basketball Assn. reached agreement on a four-year television contract, extending the network’s exclusive broadcast rights to games through the 1989-90 season.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
For the length of the contract, CBS will increase its regular-season NBA coverage from 12 to 15 games, including the All-Star game, and provide live coverage of the NBA championship series in prime time and on weekends.
