Tests Negative for Henderson, Fullerton’s Leading Scorer
X-rays taken Tuesday of Kevin Henderson’s injured right ankle were negative, a Cal State Fullerton spokesman said. Henderson, the Titans’ leading scorer with a 21-point-per-game average, sprained his ankle Sunday, early in the first half of Fullerton’s nonconference loss at the University of Portland.
The injury has been diagnosed as a “severe sprain.” The senior point guard is listed as questionable for Saturday’s game at Pepperdine, but could be ready for the Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. opener against New Mexico State Jan. 2 in Titan Gym.
