The Altanta Falcons extended Coach Dan Henning’s contract and hired Marion Campbell, who was fired as coach of the Philadelphia Eagles last week, as defensive coordinator. Reportedly, Henning got a one-year extension.

Falcon owner Rankin Smith said: “Although the record (4-12) was not what we desired, we fell Dan has handled an adverse situation as well as possible.”
