The Region : Teen-Ager Killed in Drive-by Shooting
A 15-year-old boy was killed and two others wounded in a drive-by shooting in a Compton neighborhood park. Charles Stevens of Compton died of shotgun wounds at Dominguez Medical Center. Fred Clinton, 17, and Guy Kelly, 22, both also of Compton, were treated for leg wounds and released, Sgt. Steven Roller said. Witnesses told police that someone in a car shouted at the victims before opening fire, Roller said, adding that the incident may be gang-related.
