Long Beach Women Lose to Louisiana Tech

RUSTON, La. —
Angela Lawson scored 20 points to lead Louisiana Tech, the fifth-ranked women’s basketball team, to an 80-68 victory over sixth-ranked Cal State Long Beach Friday night.
The Lady Techsters (12-1) led at halftime, 35-33. Cindy Brown of the 49ers (9-2) was the game’s high scorer with 23 points.
