Arcadia : Plaque Honors Police Chief

The Arcadia Police Department will dedicate a plaque commemorating the late Chief Charles Mitchell today at 4 p.m. at the Police Department, 150 W. Huntington Drive, where the plaque will be permanently placed. Mitchell, 53, who retired in July because of ill health, died Aug. 2 of cancer. He had been police chief since 1974.
