JUNIOR COLLEGE BASKETBALL : Ray Gets 33 as Canyons Wins, 100-89

Vincent Ray scored 33 points and had 10 rebounds to lead College of the Canyons to a 100-89 non-conference victory Wednesday over Allan Hancock at Canyons.

Canyons shot 61% (41 of 67) from the field and 69% (18 of 26) from the foul line. Guard James Mixon had 25 points and forward Ron Stapp 16, as the Cougars improved their record to 12-7.
