Police said on Tuesday that a man whose body was found in Mission Valley was apparently a robbery victim.
Police have a tentative identification of the man, who was in his 60s and a Carlsbad resident, but were withholding it pending notification of relatives, who are out of the country, Officer Craig Ketcher said.
The victim was found Monday next to a building in the 2200 block of Cammino Del Rio South. Ketcher said police believe he was shot during a robbery. The victim’s wallet and identification were missing.
