A 58-year-old El Cajon man apparently died of internal injuries Tuesday after his car smashed into a parked tractor-trailer truck in Alpine, the California Highway Patrol said.
George Flynn was driving south on Tavern Road at 45 m.p.h. when he lost control of the vehicle, authorities said.
An Alpine Fire Department spokesman said that Flynn may have suffered a heart attack.
