The Region : 2 Pastors Face Charges
The district attorney’s office charged the pastors of the Foursquare Church of Santa Monica with willfully operating a day care center without a state license. Ron Norris and his wife, Linda, were each charged with 16 misdemeanor counts. Linda Norris was charged with an additional count of interfering with a police officer in the performance of his duties in connection with an incident Jan. 14, during which authorities attempted to execute a court-authorized inspection warrant, the district attorney’s office said. Also charged with three and four counts, respectively, were Dawn Sherman and Marilyn Lumsdon, administrators of the Weekday Sunday School day care center.
