Hooray! Hooray! for finally bursting the B&B; bubble. During my college years I stayed in B&Bs; in Amsterdam, England and Vermont. Any inconveniences were more than made up for by the bargain price. If I wanted to share a bathroom with five other people, I would visit my mother. Her cooking is great and she charges considerably less than $100 a night.
