Donald Fehr, executive director of the Major League Players Assn., said the league-wide controversy surrounding drug testing will end within two months.

“It’s going to be over in 30 to 45 days,” Fehr said after discussing the situation for nearly two hours with members of the Atlanta Braves.

“Either arbitration is going to decide a drug policy has to be negotiated through the union or it will decide to allow them (the owners) to make policies.”
