USIU Women Are 11th in Golf Tournament
The United States International University women’s golf team was in 11th place Friday after one round of the Betsy Rawls Longhorn tournament at Austin, Tex.
The Gulls, with a score of 309, are eight strokes behind tri-leaders Oklahoma, Texas and Tulsa.
In the individual competition, USIU’s Allison Shapcott is tied for eighth with a one-over-par 73.
