Kings Play Bruins Tonight at Boston

The Kings, coming off a 5-2 victory over the Washington Capitals Tuesday night and battling for the final playoff spot in the Smythe Division, will face the Boston Bruins tonight at 6 at the Boston Garden.

In Tuesday's game, King center Marcel Dionne's assist tied him with Phil Esposito for second place on the NHL's all-time scoring list with 1,590 points. He has a chance tonight to become second only to Gordie Howe, who accumulated 1,850 points in his 26-season career with the Detroit Red Wings and Hartford Whalers.

The Kings are currently 22-42-7, three points ahead of last-place Vancouver and three points behind third-place Winnipeg, while the Bruins are in third place in the Adams Division at 33-29-8.
