Rosemead : 4 Schools Offer Child Care
The Garvey Elementary School District will open four day-care centers for children in kindergarten through grade 6. The centers will operate at Emerson, Rice and Williams schools in Rosemead and Monterey Vista school in Monterey Park. Child care will be available from 7 to 8 a.m. and noon to 6 p.m. on school days and from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on non-school days. The program will continue through the summer. Fees, based on ability to pay, will range to $1.20 an hour for each child.
