County Doctor Named to Air Resources Board
From a Times Staff Writer
SACRAMENTO —
Gov. George Deukmejian Wednesday named Dr. Eugene A. Boston, 57, a Fullerton physician, to the state Air Resources Board. The nine-member panel oversees enforcement efforts for 44 regional air pollution control districts.
The post pays $21,670 a year, plus expenses, and the appointment must be confirmed by the state Senate.
Boston, a Republican, lives in Buena Park.
He replaces Tirso del Junco of Pasadena, who resigned after he was appointed to the University of California Board of Regents.
