Local News in Brief : 2 Arrested, 1 Sought in Pacoima Man’s Slaying

Police have arrested two men on suspicion of murder and are looking for a third in the shooting death of a Pacoima man, authorities said Monday.

Arrested Saturday were Michael Flowers, 24, and Gary Perry, 30, both of Pacoima, Los Angeles police Lt. Bob Stemples said. They are being held without bail in the Police Department’s Foothill Division jail in Pacoima. The man being sought was identified as G. T. Fisher, 26, of Pacoima, Stemples said.

The three are suspected of fatally wounding Eddie Houston, 30, as he ran across Glenoaks Boulevard in Pacoima the night of April 12, Stemples said. Houston, who died last Wednesday, had identified himself to police as Edward R. Smith, Stemples said.

“He was shot during a dispute with friends,” Stemples said.
