Share

A mother and her 16-year-old son were arrested Thursday afternoon on suspicion of selling narcotics from their Irvine home, police said.

Arrested were Beki Ann Petrosky of 1 Knollglen and her son, also of that address, whose name was not released because of his age, said Irvine Police Lt. Mike White.

They were charged with four counts each of suspicion of selling controlled substances and one count each of suspicion of possessing controlled substances for sale, White said. At least one of the drugs involved was LSD, police said.

A 1984 investigation into drug sales at the Petrosky residence was dropped when a police informant left California, but police said they reopened the case with new information that there was drug trafficking continuing at the address.

Petrosky, who was arrested with her son at 3:30 p.m., was booked into Orange County Women’s Jail in lieu of $30,000 bail. Her son is being held in Juvenile Hall without bail.
