San Diegan Is Slain; 2 Sought in Shooting
A San Diego man was shot and killed Saturday afternoon in a Southeast area apartment, police reported.
Gerald Lee Weslie, 22, appeared to have been shot several times in the chest, according to the San Diego County coroner’s office.
Police are looking for two suspects seen fleeing in a car.
Details of the incident were sketchy, but police said Weslie was shot inside an apartment in the 400 block of Plantano Street about 1:30 p.m. He then walked outside and collapsed in front of the building, where he died.
