A group of agents, worried about the slow pace of negotiations with rookies chosen in this spring’s NFL draft, want to sit down with management to discuss the problem.
According to the agents’ figures, only eight of 333 players chosen in the draft April 29 have been signed. Kenneth Davis, a second-round pick of the Green Bay Packers, is the highest choice signed.
Moreover, according to those same figures, just four of the 27 first-rounders have even received opening offers from the teams that drafted them.
