Viewpoint / Letters : Somebody, Please Tell Magic to Share the Ball

I know y’all think he is a monument beyond reproach, but I can’t contain myself any longer. Will someone please tell Magic Johnson to share the damn ball. If anyone else is handling it, instead of filling a lane or getting out on the wing, he cries for the ball all the way down the court. The man should have a triple-double every night, as much as he hogs the ball.

I hate enjoying the Celtics, but it’s hard not appreciating good team basketball. Sometimes Ainge handles it, then D. J. runs point and even Larry Bird will bring the ball up. The Lakers are so predictable that all the opposing team need do is pick up Magic full court and the fast break is not.
